Giving back ... there is no greater satisfaction than giving the gift of yourself to others ... be it as a friend or in friendship. I support the following organizations whenever and however I can. Like most of you money is tight - so I give money when I can - time, (who needs sleep) - share knowledge and resources.
I chose happiness for a lifetime ... "If you want happiness for an hour – take a nap. If you want happiness for a day – go fishing. If you want happiness for a month – get married. If you want happiness for a year – inherit a fortune.
If you want happiness for a lifetime – help someone else."
I typically give 5 to 10% to these organizations and spend between 20-30% of my time assisting them.

Giving back - does make a difference - my daughter Nicole - had Muscular Dystrophy - we found out about that when she was just 13 years old.
At that time we were told that as the disease progressed we she would at best live through her late twenties. With the improvements in medical
care she actually lived to be 33. She died in December of 2007. There is not a day that I don't think about her and the blessing she was to my life.
Are you having a bad day - go out and help someone. Give someone a hug. Call someone you know and haven't talked to in a while. When you
stop looking at your own problems and reach out to help others, your problems shrink ... and if you are worrying ... keep in mind only 8% of what
we worry about actually comes to pass. Help someone and make your day better ... it works ... trust me. There is always someone worse off than
you.
